Exomad Green Achieves New Biochar Benchmark with 86.3% Organic Carbon Content
May 2025  Exomad Green is proud to announce the latest milestone in its quality journey: new laboratory results from Eurofins confirm our biochar now contains 86.3% organic carbon — our highest level to date.
This result marks a continuous progression in product quality and climate impact:
  • Initial baseline: 78% organic carbon
  • Previous improvement: 84%
  • Latest breakthrough: 86.3%
This advancement reflects continuous refinement of Exomad Green’s pyrolysis process, emphasizing controlled conditions, optimal temperatures, and effective oxygen exclusion — all essential to maximizing carbon capture and durability. Higher organic carbon content means more carbon is being stabilized from biomass, directly contributing to long-term climate mitigation.
About Exomad Green: Exomad Green transforms forestry residues into high-quality biochar through sustainable, science-driven practices. Certified under the Puro.earth methodology, the company is on track to sequester over 1,000,000 tons of CO₂ annually across its growing network of facilities in Bolivia.
Beyond carbon removal, Exomad Green is deeply committed to land restoration through its biochar donation program. By distributing biochar free of charge to indigenous communities and local farmers, the company helps revitalize degraded soils, reduce the need for agricultural expansion, and promote regenerative land use.
Exomad Green also invests significantly in research and development to unlock the full potential of biochar across a range of environmental and industrial applications, pushing the frontier of climate innovation forward.
